Genome Information for Homo sapiens
To understand the functional impact of aneuploidy in phenotypically normal cells, we induced aneuploidization by inhibiting spindle assembly checkpoint in hTERT-immortalized human mammary epithelial and renal tubular epithelial cells.
More...To understand the functional impact of aneuploidy in phenotypically normal cells, we induced aneuploidization by inhibiting spindle assembly checkpoint in hTERT-immortalized human mammary epithelial and renal tubular epithelial cells. After single-cell isolation, clones were cultured for a long-term to study their karyotypic evolution and their impact on growth properties. A number of clones were sequenced for their genomic DNA and mRNA to understand the impact of aneuploidy in mutagenesis and transcriptional profile.
