Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis CR07 came from the microorganism collection of Laboratory of Microbiology and Animal Immunology of the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco and was isolated from goat inguinal lymph node found in Pernambuco state (Romero farm in Petrolândia-Brazil), confirmed by biochemical tests (catalase, CAMP tests, maltose, esculin test, nitrate reduction test and determinations of the presence of urease and DNAse).
