Temporal dynamics of pico- and nanoeukaryotic plankton in surface waters of an upwelling system

Seasonality of pico- and nano-eukaryotes inhabiting surface waters of a coastal upwelling system

From Jan/2014 to Nov/2015, we followed monthly changes in community composition of picoeukaryotes and nanoeukaryotes living at the surface and at the base of the photic zone by means of 18S rRNA gene high-throughput sequencing in a fixed station (42.14º N, 8.96º W) of NW Spain.
