More...In order to clarify the molecular mechanisms of ovary development to different photoperiod in Nile tilapia, the study compares 3 groups ovarian transcriptomic responses of Nile tilapia in different photoperiod. Ovary histology analysis indicated that these ovary development were significantly different in LD (12 h light: 12 h dark), LL (24 h light: 0 h dark) and DD (0 h light: 24 h dark). Long photoperiod caused ovary development.
