More...This study used high-throughput sequencing on the Illumina MiSeq platform to explore bacterial community structure and diversity using different phytoremediation techniques in two distinct soils with four different concentrations of petroleum. Specifically, phytoremediation model plants Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers. and Agropyron cristatum (L.) Gaertn were applied to contrast undisturbed plant communities in Weihe terrace soil (Soil 0) and silty loam from Loess tableland (Soil 1). We compared the response of bacterial communities to two different soils with different reclamation plants and contamination levels. The results provide insight into microbial community structure and diversity in polluted soils.
