Nitritation, N2O Emission Pathways and in suit Microbial Community in a MUCT Process

Partial nitrification to nitrite (nitritation) is prerequisite to nitritation/denitrification and nitritation/anammox processes for energy-neutral or even energy-positive in sewage wastewater treatment, the active microbial community diversity was further studied on total nitrogen removal and N2O accumulation in a MUCT process by using 15N-DNA-Stable Isotope Probing (15N-DNA-SIP) technique.
