More...We applied multiplexed barcoded 16S ribosomal RNA gene pyrosequencing to survey the diversity and distribution of bacteria in and on healthy adults. Human-associated bacterial communities were collected from 27 body locations over four timepoints. This provides the first understanding of how bacterial communities vary over space and time on and within the human body.
