Genome Information for Hamiltosporidium tvaerminnensis

University of British Columbia, in collaboration with the
Fasteris S.A. and
University of Basel, is sequencing the
Hamiltosporidium tvaerminnensis (misnomer:
Octosporea bayeri) strain OER-3-3 genome at 34.2-37.2x coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing.
Genomic DNA was obtained from purified spores isolated from a laboratory culture of infected Daphnia magna host.
