More...The primary goal of this study was to use ddRAD-seq data to determine whether populations of mottled ducks from Florida and West Gulf Coast should be treated as separate conservation units. We tested for discrete population structure, gene flow, and adaptive divergence. We also develop a framework for using high-throughput sequence data for defining conservation units on the basis of independent evolutionary and demographic histories.
