More...This study was based on a panel of 180 common bean (P. vulgaris) genotypes representative of the genetic diversity of a common bean germplasm repository of 1,800 accessions, deposited at the Agronomic Institute (IAC) in Campinas, Brazil. The IAC was founded in 1887, and is an important research institute of São Paulo state’s Department of Agriculture and Supply.
Two GBS libraries were constructed in 95-plex (190 accessions). Genomic DNA was co-digested with the restriction enzyme ApeKI and barcoded adapters were ligated to individual samples. Each library was single-end sequenced in a single lane of Genome Analyzer II (Illumina, Inc.).
