Genome Information for Nosema ceranae
The
USDA-ARS Bee Research Laboratory in collaboration with
Roche Applied Sciences sequenced the
Nosema ceranae strain BRL01 genome at 25X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. They generated 5465 contigs some of which are annotated.
Nosema ceranae spores were collected from infected adult honey bees maintained at the USDA-ARS Bee Research Laboratory, Beltsville, MD, USA.
