A targeted gene study of pathologic flora in the sputum of CF patients.
The sputum sample from patients with cystic fibrosis was analyzed by 16S rRNA gene amplification then direct pyrosequencing and compared to results obtained by the sequence of 36 clones by the Sanger method.
