More...Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is a manifestation of metabolic syndrome, believed to be driven by obesity and adipose tissue. Here using global gene expression analysis by RNA-Seq of cultured liver cells, which are made insulin resistant using chronic insulin treatment and high glucose, we could detail liver endogenous pathways that can drive NAFLD pathogenesis in the absence or involvement of adipose tissue mediators. The present bio-project submission contains sequence reads of the above mentioned transcriptome analysis.
