Genome Information for Homo sapiens
In order to investigate the hypothesis that CNV mosaicism may underlie Parkinson's disease, we analysed brain DNA from patients and controls by arrays and digital PCR.
More...In order to investigate the hypothesis that CNV mosaicism may underlie Parkinson's disease, we analysed brain DNA from patients and controls by arrays and digital PCR. We found evidence of extensive changes, mostly GC-rich losses, which were dependent on the extraction protocol used. We have performed WGS of DNA from one control cerebellum extracted with two different methods, to confirm that the differences seen in other analyses are reflected in changes in sequencing depth coverage and variability.
