More...The study was carried out in order to generate data on the transcriptome of this aquatic species under various temperature treatments. The adult animals were kept under standard conditions in the lab. However, the organisms were collected in their natural habitat and no selection by sex, age or physiological condition was carried out before RNA extraction. The study was planned and performed as part of a study on the reaction norm of these water beetles at different temperatures.
