The aims of this study was to primarily investigate the structure of bacterial communities in biofilm from different organs of common floating and submersed macrophytes and in vegetated and unvegetated vertical sediments; secondly, to compare nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria composition in biofilm to those in sediments.
