More...The role of intestinal dysbiosis in the individual susceptibility of alcoholic patients to ALD, has not been elucidated. Using a strategy based on human gut microbiota transplantation to mice, we therefore aimed to demonstrate that in patients with alcohol abuse, the presence of a specific dysbiosis is not only associated with liver injury but contributes to the development of severe liver disease.
