More...Treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater or straw pulp papermaking wastewater is difficult due to a low ratio of biological oxygen demand to chemical oxygen demand and toxic content. The establishment of systems to treat these two types of wastewater has long been considered very difficult and requires an extended period of time for microbial domestication. In this study, with the help of 454 high-throughput pyrosequencing, we selected these two types of wastewater to investigate the effects of different industrial wastewaters on the structure of microbial communities.
