16S rDNA, amplicon libraries were prepared from snap frozen colon, mesenteric lymph node and liver from SIV-negative DSS-treated rhesus macaques and 454 pyrosequencing performed to determine the similarities and unique phyla that translocate into the host following experimental GI tract damage.
