More...Consurtium of Ammonia oxidizing bacteria and nitrite oxidizing Nitrospira were targeted in pilot-scale activated sludge wastewater with two functional genes: amoA and nxrB. Pilot-scale reactors consisted of two control and RAS-ozonated activated sludge to study the ozone mortailty effect on the population of nitrifying bacteria (Ammonia oxidizing&nitrite oxidizing). In the same study population of these two group were also sampled in the incoming raw sewage and mixed liquor of full scale treatment plants. Pilot reactors were feed with the similar sewage as full-scale reactor.
