Genome Information for Oncorhynchus mykiss
Objectives of this study were to characterize transcriptional profiling of rainbow trout tissue and identify the genes differentially expressed in rainbow trout with extremely high and low carcass fat content, which could provide important information about the molecular mechanism of fat deposition and be helpful to seek more powerful target gene associated with carcass fat content, and potentially be applied to the development of molecular genetic markers for fatness trait in rainbow trout.
