More...This study aims at assigning patterns of introgression of haplotypes in 3 genomes representing wild population of the house mouse (Mus musculus) from Heligoland. The population which is isolated on the small island is expected to show higher frequencies of introgression of haplotype educed from previous findings that introgression has a natural origin and most importantly that it bears higher frequencies not necessarily led by migration or incomplete lineage sorting, but rather as a result of positive selection and genome adaptations.
