More...This Antrodia cinnamomea (syn. Taiwanofungus camphoras) study used Illumina MiSeq sequencing to characterize the transcriptomes of four haploid strains (V2, V5, V7 and Q3) and four diploid strains. Each haploid strain was germinated from a monokaryon arthrospore produced from the HC1 wild isolate dikaryon mycelium. The four diploid strains (V5-V7, V2-Q3, V2-V7, V5-Q3) were generated by sexually crossing the corresponding monokaryons. These data can help to understand the sexual development and mating-type classification of Antrodia cinnamomea.
