More...The objective of this study was to investigate the composition of coastal subaerial microbial communities and how community assemblages were affected by abiotic factors. The main abiotic factor that was tested in this study was stress from salinity. The samples were collected at increasing distances from the shore. The overall goal was to understand how tolerant bacteria are in Waimanalo, Oahu.
