The mitochondrial genomes and nucleic retroviral loci of five species under order Folivora(commonly called sloth) are enriched and sequenced by illumina Miseq to clarify the phylogenetic relationship of the species and their co-evolutionay pattern with endogenous retrovrius in their genomes, including 3 extant species: Choloepus didactylus, Choloepus hoffmanni, and Bradypus variegatus, and 2 extinct speices Mylodon darwinii, Nothrotheriops shastensis.
