Genome Information for Quercus lobata
Using the Illumina platform, we de novo assembled and annotated a draft reference transcriptome for Quercus lobata and Quercus garryana, and identified variants (focusing on SNPs --- single-nucleotide polymorphisms) to provide resources for forest genomicists studying this ecologically and economically important genus.
