We present a first analysis of melon genetic diversity at the whole-genome level using re-sequencing data from 7 melon accessions from diverse origins, which includes a detailed analysis of SNPs, structural variation (including PAV, CNV and inversions), as well transposon insertion polymorphisms. To this end we used an array of already available and newly developed bioinformatic tools.
