Two linkage maps based on a hybrid cross between the interfertile species Nasonia vitripennis and Nasonia longicornis were developed using STS, RAPD, and microsatellite markers. Seventeen STS markers are linked to specific chromosomes, allowing the linkage groups to be mapped to the five chromosomes of Nasonia vitripennis. Twenty of the markers can be mapped to specific scaffolds in the Nvit_1.0 assembly, and can be viewed as part of the gbDNA map in Map Viewer.
