Genome Information for Pediculus humanus
EST sequencing projects are currently underway for the body louse Pediculus humanus corporis and the closely related head louse Pediculus humanus capitis. One body lice library and two head lice libraries are expected to be used to generate in excess of 20,000 ESTs.
