Strain isolated from a patient with Miller Fisher syndrome

See Genome Information for Campylobacter jejuni

Campylobacter jejuni subsp. jejuni CF93-6. This strain was isolated from a patient in Japan diagnosed with MFS (Miller Fisher syndrome). It has been recently shown to produce a GT1a-like ganglioside mimic that is cross-reactive to anti-GQ1b antibodies.
