More...A mapping population of 150 lines was created by random selection from 310 doubled haploid progeny from the cross of 'Steptoe' x 'Morex'. These were used to construct three maps that were publicly reported. The first, a peer-reviewed publication, genotyped the progeny by RFLP, RAPD, STS, isozyme and morphologic markers. The second, personal communication by A. Kleinhofs to GrainGenes in 2000, genotyped the progeny by RFLP, STS and CAPS. The third, personal communication by A. Kleinhofs to Barley Genomics in 2003, genotyped the progeny by RFLP, RAPD, STS and SSR.
