2 individuals was prepared by crossing 'Fejalou Jalousia', a clingstone flat peach, with 'Fantasia', a freestone round nectarine. The population was prepared in two stages. 63 individuals were planted in 1993 and were used to prepare a map in 1996. 144 additional individuals were planted in 2000. In 2002 each of the F
2 individuals were grafted to synchronize the trees for QTL detection and planted in an orchard in 2003.
