Genome Information for Cryptococcus neoformans
The
University of Oklahoma generated over 12,000 EST sequences by end-sequencing cDNA clones derived from
Cryptococcus neoformans var.
neoformans strain B-3501 (serotype D) cells grown in YPD broth. These EST sequences have been deposited into GenBank/EMBL/DDBJ under the accessions
CF182795-CF194965. The University of Oklahoma also end-sequenced cDNAs derived from
Cryptococcus neoformans B-3501 cells grown in low-iron media to generate approximately 3,300 additional EST sequences.
