Salmo salar (Atlantic salmon)

Genetic linkage map by FRS Freshwater Laboratory, Faskally, Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland, UK

See Genome Information for Salmo salar

A genetic linkage map for Salmo salar was constructed from two half-sib F2 backcross families derived from wild salmon from Newfoundland, Canada and Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The map includes 50 microsatellite markers on 15 linkage groups, and 14 additional unlinked markers.
