The Hydra Genome Project is a joint effort by JCVI, JGI, Dan Rokhsar's lab at UC Berkeley and Rob Steele's lab at UC Irvine. The sequencing and initial assembly was done by JCVI and submitted to GenBank as WGS project ABRM00000000. That assembly often assembled the two haplotypes of Hydra into separate contigs/scaffolds.
