Histoplasma ohiense (nom. inval.) strain:G217B

Histoplasma ohiense (nom. inval.) strain:G217B Genome sequencing and assembly

The Washington University School of Medicine (WashU), in collaboration with the Baylor College of Medicine and the University of California at San Francisco, sequenced the Ajellomyces capsulatus strain G217B genome at 12.5X coverage using whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing. They constructed a WGS assembly, which they refined using their fosmid-based physical map. They plan to annotate the genome.
