Genome Information for Ostrinia furnacalis
The complete coding region of the Ostrinia furnicalis mitochondrial genome was sequenced at Iowa State University by Coates et al. (2005). The sequence shows an identical gene order to the lepidopteran Bombyx mori and 1.3% sequence divergence from the european corn borer O. nubilalis.
