Tarsier (Tarsius syrichta) Sequence assembly release notes:

A female tarsier (Tarsius syrichta) genome was sequenced to 48X coverage using ABI3730, 454 and Illumina sequencing technology. The DNA source (animal id# Samal-C Ts95f) was kindly provided by the Duke University Lemur ... Center. The combined sequence reads were assembled using modified Celera assembler software (courtesy of Dr. Aleksey Zimin) and filtered for all known non-tarsier sequence contaminants. This second draft assembly is referred to as Tarsius_syrichta_2.0.1. 

In the final assembly, referred to as Tarsius_syrichta_2.0.1, there were 492,903 contigs with an N50 contig length of 38 Kb. There were 337,189 scaffolds with the N50 scaffold length of 401 Kb. A total of 3.4 Gb was assembled in contigs.
