The assembly takes place in two stages at different stringencies, generating the original contigs from the first stringency and the reptigs from the second. The contigs in this version are either original contigs, reptigs, or merged contig + reptig.
A ... few contigs have been removed because they may contain contamination.
The Amel_4.0 assembly was an update of the scaffolds, not the contigs. Therefore, the contigs have Amel_3.0 names and the scaffolds have Amel_4.0 names. Note that some contigs that were unlinked in Amel_3.0 (chrUn) have been incorporated into linkage groups in the updated Amel_4.0 assembly.  more
