The Dicentrarchus labrax whole genome shotgun (WGS) project has the project accession CABK00000000. This version of the project (01) has the accession number CABK01000000, and consists of sequences CABK01000001-CABK01036166.

Whole Genome Shotgun assembly made using CELERA Assembler by H. Kuhl, using 102960 BAC end sequences from bassbac clone library (constructed by Whitaker et al.) and 2092161 plasmid shotgun sequences . The submitted contigs represent 16% of the estimated 600mb genome. The average sequencing coverage of the contigs by shotgun reads was 2x.
