The mine drainage metagenome whole genome shotgun (WGS) project has the project accession ACNP00000000. This version of the project (01) has the accession number ACNP01000000, and consists of sequences ACNP01000001-ACNP01000140.
This first version of ACNP00000000 has a partial genome of one Leptospirillum group III species. This species consists of the second-most dominant population in a biofilm collected from the UBA location of the Richmond Mine acid mine drainage site, Iron Mountain, near Redding CA. The contigs were assembled into a single genomic path, thus strain variation is not evident in this assembly. Genome Coverage: approximately 15x Sequencing Technology: Sanger.
