The Clostridioides difficile QCD-32g58 whole genome shotgun (WGS) project has the project accession AAML00000000. This version of the project (04) has the accession number AAML04000000, and consists of sequences AAML04000001-AAML04000016.

Clostridium difficile QCD-32g58 is representative of the predominant Quebec strain. This assembly was generated by the Washington University Genome Sequencing Center, and the McGill University and Genome Quebec Innovation Centre. This build was constructed using the de novo Newbler assembly from 454 reads, supplemented with gap closure by PCR and sequencing. The resulting contigs were then ordered and oriented by comparison to Sanger reference sequence using BLAT. Bacteria available from Dr. A. Dascal, Jewish General Hospital, Room G142, Montreal, Quebec, Canada H3T 1E2.
