Micrixalus kottigeharensis
This species was described as Philautus kottigeharensis; however, morphological and molecular phylogenetic analyses place it in the genus Micrixalus according to: Bossuyt F. and Dubois, A. (manuscript in review as of 6/29/2000); and Bossuyt, F. & Milinkovitch, M.C. (2000) Convergent adaptive radiations in Madagascan and Asian Ranid frogs reveal covariation between larval and adult traits, Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 97 (12): 6585-6590
