type strain JC245 vis-a-vis JC246

In the manuscript of Subhash et al. (2014), strain JC245 is given as the type strain of Hymenobacter roseus and the sequence accession number for the 16S rRNA gene sequence of strain JC245 as HG965772. However, HG965772 was originally annotated by the EMBL database as strain JC246, and another sequence record (HG965771) as strain JC245. It is currently unclear whether the error lies in the manuscript by the authors or in the annotation of the nucleotide sequence records. In either case, the sequences are identical so that either can serve as "type" in the context of 16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons.
