pfam19291: TREH_N (This model is not part of the current CDD release)
Trehalase-like, N-terminal
This presumed domain is found at the N-terminal region of bacterial and archaeal trehalases which catalyze the hydrolyzis of alpha,alpha-trehalose into two molecules of D-glucose, followed by the glycoside hydrolase domain (pfam00723). This domain is also found in the uncharacterized protein C4H3.03c from S. pombe. The function of this domain is not clear.
