N-terminal domain of fragilysin, an extracellular metalloprotease toxin, which is primary virulence factor of B. fragilis, an oportunistic pathogen of human gut. The N-terminal domain of fragilysin inhibits fragilysin and is cleaved in a mature, virulent form.
