pfam15149: CATSPERB_C (This model is not part of the current CDD release)
CATSPERB, C-terminal domain
This entry includes CATSPERB, an auxiliary subunit of the CatSper complex, a complex involved in sperm cell hyperactivation. This process is needed for sperm motility, which is essential late in the preparation of sperm for fertilisation. This is a multi-domain protein; this entry represents the C-terminal domain which covers the Stem domain and the transmembrane helix, which are involved in the association with the channel domain.
