Mitochondria Localisation Sequence

This protein family is an N-terminal domain for the mitochondrial localisation sequence for an apoptosis-inducing factor. The protein is also known as Corneal endothelium-specific protein 1 or as Ovary-specific acidic protein. It is thought to be important for membrane function and is expressed in the ovary and corneal endothelium.
