pfam14775: NYD-SP28_assoc (This model is not part of the current CDD release)
Sperm tail C-terminal domain
NYD-SP28 is expressed in a development-dependent manner, localised in spermatogenic cell cytoplams and human spermatozoa tail. It is post-translationally modified during sperm capacitation and ultimately contributes to the success of fertilisation. This short region is found at the very C-terminus of family members of family NYD-SP28, pfam14772.
