The YhfH-like protein family includes the B. subtilis YhfH protein, which is functionally uncharacterised. Its expression is repressed by the Spx paralogue MgsR, which regulates genes involved in stress response. This family of proteins is found in bacteria. Proteins in this family are typically between 42 and 53 amino acids in length.
